Rose Cappa Rotunno
Rose’s earliest memories are of big family dinners at her Italian grandmother’s house. With 36 first cousins (Yes! 36!), it’s no surprise that she’s been planning events all her life. President of The Event Department, Rose graduated from Pace University and started her career in development and special events. She founded the business 18 years ago and it has been growing ever since. Rose derives great satisfaction out of helping clients develop meaningful partnership and presence in the community. She lives in Northern Westchester with her husband, son and daughter, and a possessive cat named Scottie. Ask her about her family cookbook!
Marisa joined The Event Department family in August. She has a passion for people and events that inspire creativity and community. Having lived in the Tri-State area all her life, she has discovered the impact that fundraising events have locally and globally. With an up-beat can-do attitude she is sure to bring out the best in every situation. Her contagious enthusiasm and competitive spirit is sure to come out in a game of Cribbage (just ask her friends). Marisa holds a Bachelors degree in communications from Eastern Connecticut State University and lives in South Norwalk, CT. She enjoys taking care of her hamster-daughter, Petunia and family dog, Bucky.
Jackie Mishler is the most recent addition to The Event Department. Jackie has been working in political fundraising since 2004, beginning her political career as the New York Deputy Finance Director for the DNC during the Kerry-Edwards Presidential Campaign. Since then, she has worked on campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels, serving in both Finance Director and finance consultant capacities. In these roles, Jackie has helped organize and plan countless political events and fundraisers of all sizes. A graduate of Georgetown University and the Georgetown University Law Center (Hoya Saxa!), Jackie grew up in Westchester County. She currently lives in Northern Westchester with her husband and two endlessly energetic munchkins, Ethan (9) and Samantha (7).
