Dazzling Decor
With Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the winter holidays quickly approaching, a common topic is décor. What is the best way to incorporate your theme without breaking your own style or budget? Here are some simple tips that can improve your décor from birthday parties to holiday get-togethers.
1. Sick of boring white linens? Ask your venue if they have different colored linens for the same price. If not, check the cost of changing the napkin color – a little splash of color can go a long way.
2. Want to dress up your place settings? Add some chargers or dress up your napkins! It doesn’t have to be fancy – check out your local Home Goods or Christmas Tree Shop for inexpensive chargers, placemats, or napkin add-ons that are bright and visually interesting. 3. Love the flowers, but hate the monotony? Add votive candles around to highlight and set the mood.
4. Sick of floral centerpieces? For an elegant and multifunctional centerpiece, try three glass cylinders of different heights, fill them with water, put in some item that relates to your theme (leaves for a fall event, red berries for a Christmas event, etc.) and top with a floating candle.
